Hello! My name is Arin. I finished my Master’s degree in Geography at the University of Montana with an emphasis on GIS and cartography in 2021. I am employed as a GIS Analyst at onXmaps, which focuses on providing outdoor mapping and navigation applications for outdoor use. I have been specializing in human geography and spatial statistics, and have also gained experience in raster analysis and cartography. My favorite kind of work involves performing spatial analyses on large datasets that provide insight on how to optimize spatial processes, developing and improving routing tools, and ingesting, displaying, and analyzing imagery. When not working as a geographer you can usually find me lost on mountain bike trails, standing in a stream with a fly rod not catching fish, hyperventilating on a trail run, or climbing some rocks.
