Africa Atlas Maps

These maps were created to be more of an artistic take on typical atlas entries. The data was taken from Natural Earth, hosted by Tom Patterson. The shaded relief I used for the physical map was hand painted by Kenneth Townsend and georeferenced. The endangered species data comes from the United Nations Environmental Program and the World Conservation Monitoring Centre.
